In the past half a decade, The Frontier Events has organized multiple weddings with huge pomp and show. Some were extremely simple and intimate while some was a saga. But there is one wedding that we did in our early years that remains the most cherished one – Karan and Pashveen’s wedding under the starlit sky.
This was by far the craziest and the most enjoyable wedding we have ever organised. Pashveen is a small-town girl from Mussoorie. Though Sikh by faith, she is a hardcore Pahadi girl who grew up in the foothills of the Himalayas. Mountains have always been her favourite place and she always dreamt of having a beautiful wedding in her hometown itself.
Pashveen studied at Mussoorie International School. When she was in class 10th, she went out with her girlfriends one day to Kalsang. A newly opened restaurant back then, Kalsang was the hot spot for all the school kids in 2010. Teenagers from the most renowned boarding schools were found hanging out and gorging on Tibetan food at Kalsang.
Kalsang was the place where fate had destined Pashveen to meet her Prince Charming. She saw a group of boys right across her table making a ruckus in the house so much so that the whole place seemed to be pandemonium. She got up from her seat to shush those boys. She went to them and castigated them and there was a pin drop of silence. When Pashveen left with her friends, she was stopped by a cute boy named Karan. Karan came to her and gently apologized to her and his goons for friends.
He introduced himself and followed Pashveen until the book shop at Mall Road. They both picked up the same book by Ruskin Bond and smiled at each other. The cupid shot his love arrows at them and that was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
With a decade since then, these two friends have been inseparable and crazy in love. They finished their college together, they worked in the same organization and since they know each other inside out, they decided to tie the knot with the kindest blessings of their parents.
After the Roka ceremony was done, The Frontier Events came into the big picture. They had heard that the Frontier Events is the best wedding planning company in Delhi and decided that their entire wedding saga would be planned by us.
#Pashvaran is the most fun wedding we have ever planned. As a wedding planning company, The Frontier Events had to organize Sangeet, Cocktail which comprised both Pashveen’s Bridal Shower and Karan’s Bachelor’s Party, Mehendi and Baraat. So many functions and the deadline was only two months.
The wedding had to be a splendid one where spirits had to pour galore and mirth had to be more and more. So without much ado, our team got on task and looked for venue, catering and décor. The Frontier Events is known for the best décor and catering services in Delhi and we immediately got in touch with our vendors.
We selected JW Marriot as the wedding venue since Pashveen wanted her big day to be in Mussoorie. The décor and menu planning were done by our expert team members. It was a three-day affair where everyone went gaga.
The Frontier Event’s first event for #Pashvaran was the Sangeet ceremony for which we had arranged for choreographers who made all the close family and friends shake a leg on the dance floor. The entertainment factor was top notch with Symphony Band and the Russian Belly Dancers stealing the show with their charisma and beauty. Pashveen donned beautiful apparel by Anita Dongre and her makeup was done by Farida Khan. She looked magnificent in her peach lehenga. Everyone made merry and danced the night away.
The morning after was the Mehendi ceremony. The entire lawn space was revamped with new décor and flowers. The theme was pink, orange and yellow. Huge Instagram poster frames were placed in a corner and a photo booth was also arranged so that the relatives keep busy. While the Bride got henna patterns designed on her hands, we arranged for a friendly cricket match between the bride’s team and the groom’s to keep the guests indulged.
The Frontier Events is the best Wedding Company in Delhi that makes sure that every guest is having fun and no one gets bored. While Pashveen was getting her Mehandi done, we made sure Karan sat next to her and made her drink a pint or two of her favourite Beer and she was relaxed with no wedding woes or bouts of anxiety. The guests hooted and cheered for their home team and it ended on a friendly note where Team Karan bagged the victory. After the Mehandi was over, we got on the task immediately.
While the guests got some rest, we made arrangements for the Grand Cocktail ceremony. Since Pashveen is a die heart fan of Jubin Nautiyal and his latest song then – ‘Hamma Hamma’ got super hit, Karan planned Jubin Nautiyal’s performance as a surprise. The Frontier Events is the best artist management company in Delhi so we made a few calls and made this dream come true for Pashveen.
The theme for the cocktail was golden and black and accordingly, the tables were laid and the light was organized. Sound testing was done with top-notch quality speakers. By 9 PM everything was ready and the party had started. We had Russian Cop Girls who mingled with the crowd with handcuffs and whoever got frisky was locked in the huge prop cage. The Martini girls made all heads turn to them and kept the spirits in the glasses flowing. Karan was dressed in a dapper suit by Armani while Pashveen wore a splendid gown by Shanaya Couture. Her Manolo Blahnik made all heads turned to her feet.
The night was young and everyone was on cloud nine when Jubin Nautiyal entered and stole the show with his beautiful voice and mellifluous melodies. Pashveen had absolutely no clue about it and she was completely overwhelmed and had tears of joy brimming in her eyes. It was indeed the happiest moment of her life when she danced on Meherbani with her paramour. Everyone danced till wee hours of the morning while The Frontier Events never slept a wink and made arrangements for the Big Day the following morning– the Anand Karaj Ceremony.
The final D-Day was exciting for both the Frontier Events and the love birds for this was the day when they would finally step into their ‘happily ever after’. The day started with the beautiful chirping of the birds and bright sky. The morning was pleasant and extremely blissful. The Gods were on our side too.
We laid down pista green and off- white theme décor and decorated the whole venue like the bride itself. The menu was strictly vegetarian for we had arranged the Anand Karaj at the property itself. And then it was the moment where Pashveen walked in her beautiful pink salwar kameez with intricate work on her dress under Phoolon Ki Chaddar which was held by the brothers on all four sides. Her chooda, mehendi, jewellery and kaleere made her look like a doll who was too pretty to be true.
Karan looked debonair in his Sherwani with pink safa to complement Pashveen’s dress with a sword in his hand. The couple looked so gorgeous together that everyone wished the best for them. A match that was both compatible and made for each other. The ceremony took an hour and a half and everyone blessed the couple with their best wishes. The food, entertainment, décor was appreciated with laudable showers of praises.
The ceremonies and events finally came to an end by 4 PM. The guests blessed us and #Pashvaran’s family thanked us for putting our heart and soul into their wedding. Though exhausted and sleep deprived, we still made sure that every guest was escorted to their rooms. The Frontier Events had also arranged for beautiful souvenirs as return gifts for the guests that were delivered to their rooms with personalised ‘Thank You’ card and finally bid our goodbye to the amazing clients with a hope of working with them again.
